Before<Before>After<After>After<After>I'm posting a review on day 7 after surgery! I had the hump shaved down and the nasal tip raised using septal cartilage + ear cartilage! I did not have anything done to the nasal bridge. They cut the muscle that kept making my nasal tip droop, and the philtrum area, nose, and surrounding area are still swollen, so it's a little hard to move (。•́︿•̀。) I saw it for the first time yesterday after the splint was removed, and I really like the overall line, so I kind of hope the swelling around the line doesn't go down any more, but I am really... extremely satisfied with the hump being gone and the nasal tip being raised. Also, the bruising wasn't severe, but I had quite a bit of bruising around the philtrum and cheeks. After diligently doing warm compresses and giving it some time, the yellow bruises seemed to fade quickly too. My nose still looks like a hallabong because the swelling hasn't gone down... The director said the swelling will go down differently each week and that it will keep changing up to 6 months, so I hope the swelling goes down soon!
Has anyone else had the muscle near the philtrum cut like I did?
