Eye Surgery Considerations

VN community review

After my first nose surgery, my bulbous nose was not corrected at all, so I went around for revision surgery consultations, and this is the clinic I’m considering as my final option. I thought only my bulbous nose hadn’t been corrected, so I was thinking about just getting alar reduction as a revision, but when I had a CT taken here, they said the nasal tip where ear cartilage had been inserted was also drooping. The director said alar reduction definitely needs to be redone, and that the drooping nasal tip would be held firmly only if I had it done with autologous costal cartilage. During the consultation, they showed me in advance what kind of nose shape I would get after alar reduction, and if it comes out just like that, I think it would be okay. I’m a bit worried about the scar where the rib cartilage is harvested, so I’m still thinking it over, but since correcting the nose again is important, I wonder if that’s why the director recommended it, so I’m really torn.
