The director’s consultation was kind. They explained what would be good to do for my current nose. Alar base reduction came up during the consultation, and when I said I was worried about scarring, they said that if I was worried, it would be right not to do it. Also, although the nasal bone osteotomy area looks slightly large externally, it was not large on CT, so they did not recommend it. I felt they did not overtreat.
