*** My criteria for whether a consultation is good/bad are expertise (consultation content) + review photos, and they don’t have much to do with friendliness***
1. Clinic name: Knit Plastic Surgery / Nose (revision) Consultant: Director Kook Kyung-hoon Consultation fee: 10,000 KRW Consultation content: He said he specializes only in noses, and since they are famous for revision rhinoplasty, I went there first I know revision surgery costs more, but it was slightly over my budget He recommended correction for a deviated nose, columellar angle, columellar lowering, short nose, nostril correction, donated costal cartilage, and ear cartilage, and each one had an additional charge He explained things in detail, and even after going to several places, this is a place that still comes to mind a bit The consultation proceeded without much waiting: consultant-director-consultant -> honestly, I’m not someone who cares much about consultation waiting time, but it finished within 1 hour total I’m not certain, but I think they said they would deduct the consultation fee if I had surgery there
2. Clinic name: Brown Plastic Surgery / Eyes (revision), Nose (revision) Consultant: ? Consultant Consultation fee: None Consultation content: I left because I didn’t have time while waiting for the director, but the wait was very long After the consultant consultation ended, by the time I was about to have the director consultation, more than 40 minutes had passed, so the timing was awkward and I left I think the consultant consultation was the worst among the places I’ve been to so far They didn’t pressure me, but the consultation felt less professional than I expected -> I also canceled the director appointment
3. Clinic name: 1Percent Plastic Surgery / Eyes (revision), Nose (revision), double-chin liposuction Consultant: Director Lee Hee-young Consultation fee: None Consultation content: The wait wasn’t very long The consultant was kind and said the director is meticulous, and there was no excessive pressure They recommended posterior/lower canthoplasty, but I didn’t like the line, so I said I didn’t want it The director was also meticulous during the consultation, which was good They recommended a deposit, so I paid the deposit without fixing a date (because of the same-day discount) The price wasn’t bad, which I liked, but I’m hesitating because they aren’t famous for revision rhinoplasty Deviated nose, short nose, nostril correction, donated costal cartilage, ear cartilage (they said the columellar angle was fine) Incision, epicanthoplasty
4. Clinic name: Custom Plastic Surgery / Eyes (revision), double-chin liposuction Consultant: Director Kim Ju-ho Consultation fee: None Consultation content: No waiting The consultant was just okay, and the director explained things well The reason I said the consultant was just okay is that the cost calculation was a bit strange; if I did only eyes it was cheaper, but if I added liposuction it became more expensive I had a consultation for diagonal canthoplasty + non-incisional double-eyelid fixation, and I don’t think the swelling would be severe I liked the review photos too, and for now I like the diagonal canthoplasty I’m thinking about doing just the eyes separately here I don’t know the average price for eyes alone, but maybe slightly above average? Or about average I asked about the nose, but I think it would be better to go somewhere a bit more specialized Non-incisional double-eyelid fixation, diagonal (inner, upper) canthoplasty
5. Clinic name: Cheoeumcheoreom Plastic Surgery / Eyes (revision), Nose (revision) Consultant: Director Lee Bang-seok Consultation fee: None Consultation content: There was a bit of waiting, but it was okay It took about 2 hours total The consultant kept going back and forth, saying she would discuss the cost with the director and come back The director explained things well He said it could come undone again because of the epicanthal fold, and that canthoplasty scars could remain They seem famous for revision rhinoplasty, and he said I need a lot of cartilage The consultant recommended autologous costal cartilage I don’t want to do it again, so I’m considering autologous costal cartilage Since donated costal cartilage + ear cartilage and autologous costal cartilage don’t differ greatly in cost, I’m leaning toward autologous costal cartilage while enduring the pain At first the cost was too high, and they said if I did same-day + fixed the date, they would give the final price, but I still have 10 more consultations left, so I said I’d think about it and come back There was no pressure to pay a deposit, and the consultation was good Non-incisional double-eyelid fixation, epicanthoplasty
