Nose Surgery Reviews

Review after going around for nose consultations... 4 places...

About 10 years ago, I had silicone inserted into my nasal bridge through a closed rhinoplasty, and because of a step-off on the nasal dorsum, I decided on revision surgery + while I’m at it, alar reduction too. I really dislike anything too dramatic and prefer something unnoticeable and natural-looking.

1. ㅊㅇㅊㄹ (single-surgeon clinic) Had CT scan, no consultation fee The consultation manager was very friendly No pressure or burden to pay a deposit The doctor’s consultation was also kind and detailed Since my previous surgery was closed rhinoplasty, they offered it at the primary surgery price My nasal tip is relatively high compared to the bridge Silicone replacement, nasal tip (septal cartilage + ear cartilage), alar reduction Columellar extension, deviated nose correction But I’m a bit concerned because they said there’s no anesthesiologist here

2. ㅅㅇㅋ-ㄱㅈㅈ Had CT scan, no consultation fee, deposit pressure yes From people who came for surgery to people who came for aftercare? treatment, this hospital had the most people Because of that, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that it was somewhat factory-like, so while waiting I thought, ah, I should rule this place out The consultation with the manager was the longest and most detailed Silicone replacement, nasal tip (septal cartilage), alar reduction Here too, because the previous surgery was closed rhinoplasty, it was inexpensive for a revision The estimate here was the cheapest In the CT scan area, there were boxes lying around and some machine part was broken, rolling around on the floor, and that image was a bit.. But after going through all the consultations, I started thinking, should I just do it here?;;

3. ㅇㅆ (single-surgeon clinic) No CT scan, consultation fee 11,000 KRW I added this place because I was interested in closed rhinoplasty The manager didn’t explain separately, only gave me the price The doctor gave detailed explanations from the basics The doctor’s explanation time was the longest Every other place said there was nothing difficult, but only here they said it’s difficult because of the step-off and that it’s a hard surgery They said I don’t need to do the nasal tip Closed rhinoplasty, alar reduction, silicone replacement, step-off correction, fascia When I mentioned the nasal bone being deviated, they said everyone is deviated to about that degree, and if the bone is crooked, the implant can also be placed slightly crooked After hearing this, I was a bit like huh? about the deviated nose correction at ㅊㅇㅊㄹ I had almost made up my mind to do it here, but after checking Babsam, I saw a review saying the nasal tip cartilage shows through, so I’m hesitating

4. ㅁㅌ (single-surgeon clinic) No CT scan, consultation fee 10,000 KRW The manager was kind I knew beforehand because there are many reviews saying the doctor is quite unfriendly? But in his own way, he explained what I wanted well, and it was okay Silicone, septal cartilage structural change, nose length extension Here, unexpectedly, they told me to extend the nose length, so I was like huh? And I’d heard this place is good at giving blunt reality checks and saying no to what can’t be done, so I went intending to choose this place, but I couldn’t because it’s so~~~~~~ expensive.. double the price....

I thought after visiting four consultations, one place would really stand out and I’d decide, but I’ve become even more unsettled, so I think I need to visit more places.. I’m thinking ㅂㅇㅂ, ㅍㄹㅇㅂ, ㅋㅂㅈ, ㄴㅌ around next week..

If any of you have had surgery at the places I went to today or the places I’m planning to visit, please share some info in the comments....
