At the time, I went for consultations at just one or two plastic surgery clinics that had good reviews in a community I often visited, and got double eyelid surgery. It was a buried-suture in-out line, and the surgery was done under sedation anesthesia. During the consultation, they said it would absolutely never come undone and that they would provide lifetime aftercare, but I’m not sure if that’s still the case now.. hahaha I was satisfied back then, and it’s still holding up well now. I think the swelling kept going down little by little until about year 1 or 2. After that, it felt like the line became fixed. Seeing that there are also bad reviews when I look at clinic reviews, I do think I may have been lucky.
