Before, I only kept getting non-incisional buried-suture double eyelid surgery, but it kept coming undone, so I had revision surgery twice. It came undone again, so this time I made up my mind to do an incisional procedure properly, and I think I was right to do it. As I got older, my eye-opening strength got weaker, so I had ptosis correction and also had the scars from the areas where the buried sutures had been placed removed. My eyes open well now, and because my skin has a slight tendency toward keloids, one side of the surgical area developed some hypertrophic scar tissue, but it improved a lot after injections. The hospital took responsibility and gave me free treatment injections until it improved. Since there is no such thing as 100% satisfaction with surgery anyway, I plan to just live with it at this level. Anyway, I'm glad I did it.
