1. My first surgery had silicone that was too high 2. Second surgery changed it to lower silicone 3. From my personal perspective, I felt like my nose was becoming shorter, so I thought maybe contracture had started and had revision surgery (I wanted to raise the silicone even by 1 mm, but during surgery the doctor judged that the silicone had been there like a very thin sheet, and because my glabella was on the high side, it would probably be okay not to put it in) 4. The hospital where I had the 3rd surgery was widely rumored to make noses very long, so I asked them not to make it long.. But since there was no silicone and my nose felt too long, I had another revision at the 3rd hospital to make it a bit shorter. After the last surgery, there is a depression in the mid-nose area, so it has a slight beak-like feel, and the nasal tip droops.. (only ear cartilage was used for the tip) I'm trying to live with the side profile because I'm somewhat satisfied with it... But from the front, it seems noticeably lower compared with the side view. I dislike the depressed feeling in the mid-nose area too, and I dislike the feeling of the nasal tip dropping...ㅠㅠㅠ
Also, maybe because I've already experienced silicone, my current front view without silicone feels like it has no highlight, should I say? I dislike the blunt feeling. But I also dislike the look of a nose that seems too flashy and obviously surgically done.... ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
After going to hospital consultations, the problems with my current nose are: the nose is gradually dropping downward, the side-profile height is on the high side but from the front the nasal bridge looks absent. So it looks flat. The nostrils are asymmetric?
Among several consultations, I found 2 hospitals I liked
Hospital 1 said they would do osteotomy, lightly place silicone (since there is no septal cartilage), use autologous costal cartilage to build a support strut for the nasal tip, and because my skin is thin, place dermis over it. There are many review photos, and they have a straight-with-slight-slope, upturned-bucket-line feel, which I really like... but the price is too high, ㅠㅠㅠ and silicone plus autologous costal cartilage plus dermis.. I also wonder if it's too much..ㅠㅠ
Hospital 2 is run by a junior doctor from the hospital where I had the 3rd surgery, and I judged that since the surgical method is similar, they would know better.
They suggested two options. 1. Osteotomy, slightly fill the depressed mid-nose area with ear cartilage, and use the existing ear cartilage for the nasal tip. Autologous dermis for the nasal bridge and nasal tip
2. Silicone for the nasal bridge, AlloDerm for the nasal tip
Everyone, which choice would you make?ㅠㅠ......... I'm really so torn and stressed every day.
I don't even know if it's right to have surgery again...
