This is a bit long.. I had revision rhinoplasty this Friday, and now it is day 2. Before surgery, the surgeon explained things really well and was gentle, you know..? But on the day of surgery, he said my facial asymmetry was very severe, and that nostril unevenness or asymmetry could get worse, but that would be because my face is asymmetrical regardless of the surgery. Right before surgery, while I was on the operating table, he was looking inside my nose with a camera, and something from the first surgery must have gone wrong because something like cartilage was protruding as if it was about to break through the inner tissue. He told the operating room nurses to take photos and said, "This has nothing to do with this surgery." I can understand up to that point, but when I asked the surgeon, "Then what should I do about my nose? Do I just live like this?" he said, "You have lived like that until now." After that, he immediately asked whether they could put me under sedation and went into surgery. I have a consultation with the surgeon next Friday, but is there a possibility that he did the surgery by just placing silicone on top without resolving the issue inside my nose..? I keep worrying because of the way the surgeon spoke.
