Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery><Swelling going down from day 3 to day 7><Current day 10><Current day 10><Current day 10>During my first surgery, my bulbous nose wasn’t properly improved, and as you can see in the photos, compared with the nasal bridge, the nasal tip drooped a lot, so the border was visible. I didn’t like the shape either, but I was also worried that as time passed, the implant might show through more than now, so I finally made up my mind to have revision surgery.
As the director recommended, I had a 3D implant made and lowered the nasal bridge by about 2-3 mm, and donor costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip. Maybe because this time I used a customized implant, I really like the shape, and especially how it feels natural, like my own nose, without any visible implant border.
Even though I lowered the nasal bridge more than before, it somehow actually looks higher? I’m already excited and looking forward to seeing how it’ll look once all the swelling goes down. How does it look to everyone? My friends around me also said that after the revision surgery I look much more refined and that I did well, but maybe because it’s a revision surgery, I keep asking and wanting reassuranceㅠㅎ.. Also, I heard swelling after revision surgery can sometimes last longer than after the first surgery. For those who had revision surgery, how long did your swelling usually last?
