I put up with it for about two years and then got revision surgery. When I first had surgery, the shape wasn’t bad, but I could see the shape changing and it started to feel like a waste of money, so I searched a lot, both online and in person, and looked for hospitals, focusing on places said to be good with rib cartilage! Before going to consultations, I worried a lot, but after visiting clinics, I decided in one shot to go with Lowell Plastic Surgery haha. While choosing materials during the consultation, I decided on autologous costal cartilage, and because I said I didn’t want the tip to be too sharp, they made it with a rounder feel on their own. I heard that harvesting autologous costal cartilage hurts a lot, but after about a week it’s still manageable. After my first surgery, it felt a bit more straight-line, but this time I think they gave it a properly straight-but-soft line, so it feels more feminine haha. I’ve also heard a lot of people say the changed shape looks better~~ Some places say it’s hard to see the director after surgery, but when you move on to revision surgery, I think a private clinic is better. After surgery, when the director checks my progress, they’re very thorough, which was nice. I hope it stays like this from now on
