I live outside Seoul, but I went all the way up to Seoul to have it done. I had three procedures: double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and epicanthoplasty. At first, I had not considered ptosis correction at all, but I decided to do it after the director recommended it. What made me trust him was that he explained in detail why I needed ptosis correction, based on the structure and shape of my eyes, my eyelid-opening strength, and so on. Even though I was afraid of ptosis correction, I was able to understand what the director said and decide to have the surgery. Also, before surgery, he listened to the line I wanted and honestly and firmly told me what was not possible, which also made me trust him. I’m now 6 months post-op, and although my eyes did not change as dramatically as I had wanted, I think they became much prettier than before. Since my eyeballs were originally somewhat sunken, I think there were inevitably limits to what surgery could do
