I had chin implant removal + chin advancement + mini V-line + facial liposuction (side cheeks, nasolabial folds, deep buccal fat removal) at Note, and since I’m still only 1 month post-op and still very swollen, I brought a review.
The reason I decided to have surgery was, 10 years ago, I was stressed because my face was round, so I put an implant in the tip of my chin... but as time went by, it looked like a double chin, and I was bothered that my face looked long, so I decided to remove it. During the consultation with Director Yoo Ji-han, I thought my face would look too short if the implant was removed, so we decided to advance it by only about 3 mm!
The reason I decided to have surgery at Note was! At other hospitals, they hadn’t recommended facial liposuction, but the director suggested it would be good to do it together. Since I had always been bothered by my nasolabial folds and deep buccal fat, I thought my aesthetic sense matched the director’s aesthetic sense.. haha Also, people who had surgery at Note all said unanimously that Director Yoo Ji-han is really good with chins.. and that he is extremely meticulous and pays close attention to every detail, so hearing those stories was also part of why I decided to go ahead.
Since it’s still only 1 month post-op, I still have a lot of candy-like swelling around the sides of my mouth, and my lower jaw still feels quite swollen like a pelican.. My facial muscles haven’t returned to their original state yet either, so I’m not completely satisfied, but they said this takes some time In the past, I heard a lot that my chin looked a bit long because of the implant + that my impression looked strong, but now I hear a lot that my impression has softened a little and that maybe thanks to the facial liposuction I look a bit more mature, so I’m satisfied with that part:) The stiff feeling + pulling sensation around the scar area inside my mouth seems like it will need more time.. and this is surprisingly quite uncomfortable The biobond (hardened feeling) in the areas where I had facial liposuction also seems like it needs to loosen up more overall, so I’ll keep watching until the 2-month mark and come back with another review!!!
