I’m finally going to get nose surgery

I’ve lived hearing people say I’m pretty, but I hated my hump nose, arrow nose, and long nose so much... It’s been that way since my school days all the way until now.. My face is very small, but the hump stood out and the nasal tip drooped down so much that, like an Arab nose, only my nose showed on my face. Even when I took selfies with filters, only my nose stood out. I also often heard negative comments about my nose... I had countless nicknames too.. I lived hearing kids say countless times, “You’d be really pretty if you just did your nose.” I had heard a lot from people around me that rhinoplasty has many side effects and is a high-risk surgery, and I had personally seen many side effects too, so I had a lot of skepticism.. Since my family was also very poor when I was young, I lived trying hard to ignore my complex... Because we were poor, even to my young self, spending money to aesthetically groom and manage myself felt like a burden and a luxury.. Then as I got older, worked, saved up a certain amount of money, and built a career, I got the chance to reflect on myself. As a woman, aesthetic aspects naturally felt most important.. So I thought this was the time and started looking into rhinoplasty. At first, I picked hospitals advertising on Naver blogs, and later after I had already selected some, I read reviews and opinions in this community and was really surprised to see how biased a lot of the blog advertising information was. If I had gone to one of those places, I might have ended up botched and be looking into revision surgery again.. I think meeting and choosing the right hospital and director is really important for rhinoplasty, so this community helped me a lot. I spent a long time reading posts, skipped what needed to be skipped, saved what was helpful, and I think that helped me choose a hospital. My criteria for choosing a hospital were: 1. A single-director clinic with a lot of surgical experience and know-how 2. A stable surgical direction and no performance of excessive surgery 3. A doctor with a sense of mission and responsibility 4. Reviews of noses shaped similarly to mine that matched the shape I wanted after surgery 5. A place with systematic and well-organized aftercare Those were the five, and since I had financial leeway, money wasn’t really a consideration. The hospital I chose was ㅈㅅ Plastic Surgery. The doctor fit the criteria I had set well, and the consultant was kind without pressure. During the consultation with the doctor, after listening to me, it seems we’ll plan the overall shape with hump correction, nasal tip correction, shortening the nose length, and no implant. The director suggested proceeding without implants so there would be no inflammation or contracture, so I’m really excited. I want to do it quickly. I booked the surgery date and came back, and every single day feels exciting.
