I kept thinking I should leave a nose surgery review, but I kept forgetting,, and I’m finally writing one!!
Around one week after nose surgery, I was making a huge fuss like, what do I do, my nose is too high,, but people who had nose surgery before told me wait longer, the swelling will keep going down until you start saying stop getting lower, so I held out and waited and really, at one month, the shape came out so, so satisfying ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
I had made a shortlist of about 9 hospitals total for nose surgery and had even booked all the consultations, but at the third hospital I went to, I really felt sure in my heart, so I canceled all the other consultations I had booked and even scheduled the surgery date
For reference, I had a large hump and a bulbous nose, and even though I’m a woman, my nose looked slightly masculine My nasal bridge itself was high, so even though I had a hump, compared with a low-bridge hump-type nose, I had often been told in everyday life that my nose was high If you look at photos of the actress who played Bae Ro-na in the drama Penthouse, that was exactly my nose So when people saw Bae Ro-na, they said she looked exactly like me when I was young ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, it was a bulbous nose with a high bridge, a hump, and wide nostril wings, and my nasal tip was on the low side,
I used to apply shading pretty heavily somehow to make my wide nostril wings look narrower, so my impression looked stuffy and when I took selfies with an app (you know, the effect in the SNOW app that narrows the nostril wings..) I used the nostril-wing narrowing a ton so I only took selfies where my nose looked really unnatural
From the front, people didn’t really notice, but from the side, the hump was definitely visible,, that slightly masculine image I hated it so much, and it had been a complex since I was young, but because people around me kept discouraging me, saying nose surgery has to be done really carefully,, I wondered if I just had to live like this until my 30-something years of life, and then one day, for some reason, I decided to get nose surgery
First of all, I only wanted to shave down my hump, and I didn’t want alar reduction. Personally, I thought it would be better not to do alar reduction so I really only had the thought of shaving the hump!! But people who had already had plastic surgery told me, “I don’t think you can just shave the hump?” And as expected, shaving only the hump is almost impossible, and considering that if only the hump is shaved, the nasal tip becomes even lower,
in the end, it was hump shaving + lateral osteotomy (because the nasal dorsum bone itself, not the nostril wings, was wide, I had considered this too) + slightly raising the nasal tip But when raising the nasal tip, I really, really didn’t want to use an implant,, because although it’s an extremely rare case, if inflammation occurs, a situation where the implant has to be removed or corrected could happen so I had the thought that it must be done only with septal cartilage or my own autologous cartilage, and every hospital I consulted recommended it that way! After nose surgery, I’ve heard so many times that my impression looks softer, and first of all, I really like my side profile and lateral view I used to almost always take only front-facing photos, but these days I take lots of photos focused on my side profile too ㅠㅠㅠ I’m really so satisfied
I just wanted it to look like a naturally high nose from birth, and since the hump disappeared and the nasal tip became higher, thanks to my originally high nasal bridge I’m so happy that I was able to have a nose I really love For the photo, I brought photos of Miyeon from ‘I-DLE’ ㅋㅋㅋ Rather than a nose where anyone would say, wow, she got surgery!! I got surgery because I wanted a natural nose where people would think, huh, was that her original nose from birth.. I guess it was originally high.. I’m really, really, so, so satisfied, so I’m taking the time to leave a review....!!!ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I hope it helps many people..
