I had surgery for rhinitis + a deviated septum + a hump nose in January 2019.
The rhinitis itself seems to have come back, but because they shaved down the hump nose, breathing is more comfortable than before, so I feel less sleepy.
Since my nasal bridge itself was high, I remember they used cartilage from behind the ear so that the tip of my nose wouldn’t look too sunken.
However, I’m not sure if this is the same for people who had nose surgery elsewhere, but when I touch the tip of my nose, there is still a strange feeling, like it could bend if it takes an impact.
