Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

6 months after 3 types of facial contouring, and I’m fairly satisfied

Before <Pre-op 1> Before <Pre-op 2> After <2 weeks> After <3 months> After <6 months!> Before <photo taken while waiting> The surgeries I got were... 3 types of facial contouring! Zygoma reduction, square jaw reduction, genioplasty, and buccal fat removal too. There seem to be many people in this community who are seriously considering it, so I’m going to share my experience as much as I remember, hoping it helps. The content is similar.. hehe I went to consultations at quite a few places, and what I remember is that The director personally put on gloves, checked my oral structure, explained in detail what my current face shape was like, and explained one by one, in a way that was easy to understand, where the issues with my face were coming from and why they were like that. And the manager who consulted with me also treated me so warmly and kindly that I had already decided in my mind right away, but because the manager told me to go home and think it over sufficiently, I thought about it more, and since it was bone surgery, I also went for another consultation. After deciding the design together with the director and manager, I finally decided to get the surgery!

Even on the day of surgery, they clearly told me what couldn’t be done, listened to my needs as much as possible, and thought it through together with me, so I really liked that.

On the day of surgery, I arrived at the hospital by 8, was assigned an inpatient room, changed clothes, gargled, had the IV needle inserted, and saw the director once again. They told me the final surgical plan, then the anesthesiology director came and checked whether I had any discomfort, whether I had taken any medications, checked my condition, and helped me feel at ease, so I became calm.

Finally, I went to the bathroom, lay down on the operating table, and then I lost my memory,, hehe I opened my eyes around 1:35, and the director’s face was right there lol The director said the surgery went very well and asked me, on a scale from 1 to 10, how much pain I had, and said they had given me painkillers, so I should be okay. I didn’t have any sore throat or nausea from general anesthesia at all, and maybe it was because of the facial compression band, but I think only my face hurt from the pressureㅠ When I was hospitalized, I was alone without a guardian, but the nurses kept coming to check on me, took my blood pressure and temperature, and looked after me carefully, so I think it’s perfectly fine even without a guardian. They really gave me a lot of encouragement and comfort, so I think the time passed quickly.

The next day, they shampooed my hair first, then took an X-ray. Then I checked the CT with the director, had the drain removed, and they even disinfected the inside of my mouth. I think I saw the director almost 4 times after surgery, and that was also a huge support for me. They kept telling me to rest more before discharge, so I was discharged around 12 hehe

And since I went in pretty often for care, I think the swelling went down quickly. I had deliberately cleared my whole schedule because I figured I wouldn’t be in a state to walk around outside anyway, but from weeks 1 to 4, then at 1 month, 2 months, and 3 months, they managed my swelling, checked things in detail, and cared about me, so honestly I wanted to go every day!!

Every time I went for post-op care, they managed the swelling and checked my condition. They also made sure to do radiofrequency and laser treatments, and although the system itself is well set up, I really love how kindly they treat me.

There is still an awkward and uncomfortable feeling, starting from my lips, but they explain in detail while showing me lip exercises and mouth-opening practice, and they tell me in advance what to be careful about, so I’m just calmly following what they told me to do.

Overall, I had zygoma reduction, square jaw surgery, genioplasty, and buccal fat removal, but decisively, I had a big dissatisfaction with my angular jaw, so that’s what made me decide. I think I did well getting all 4 procedures together. My overall facial line has become softer, and I got the face shape I wanted, so I’m satisfied hehe

When I went in at 3 months, they told me that I still needed to be careful not to strain my temporomandibular joint when eating, and every time I went, they carefully did radiofrequency laser treatments, so I think it helped a lot with the swelling going down and with adjusting.

I’m working, meeting friends, and when I go out and do my makeup, I feel much less stressed, which is so nice. Since it’s the time of day when I look at and touch my face the longest, I’m happy that I’ve become prettier in the image I wanted, and my boyfriend also subtly likes it ><

Now the swelling has gone down quite a lot and it’s becoming natural. Thinking about it, after surgery I went every time from weeks 1 to 5, then at 2 months and 3 months, so it was already my 7th visit in total. Maybe because I went often, I’ve gotten close with the staff too hehe I feel reassured every time I go! Since they do radiofrequency, laser, and swelling care every time, I feel like I can recover much faster!

Ah, I heard that facial bone pin removal is usually best done between 6 months and 1 year. They aren’t harmful to the body and it’s okay not to remove them, but when I saw the X-ray, they bothered me for no reason, and if removing them wouldn’t cause any problem, I told them I’d like to remove them when I have time. I saw on YouTube that although the probability is very low, these pins can potentially cause an allergic reaction, and they could possibly affect dental treatment later hehe The hospital did say something similar too! ㅠㅠ I’m curious what other people do. I’m curious about real reviews on what changes after doing it!!

Oh, and lol I ate a rock-hard frozen macaron,,, and maybe I overdid it while eating, because I had a little pain, so I got worried and asked. They said it was just that the muscle was startled. I still think it’s better to be careful for now. I really like meat and ice cream sandwiches and things like that, but I’ve reduced them a lot. I cut everything up before eating!!

Even my recent photo booth pictures!! I like them because they came out so pretty. I decided to get surgery because my square jaw and wide-looking cheekbones showed when taking photos from the front, and like in the photos, my face has become much softer and prettier, so I’m satisfied. Now I’m going to look for reviews from people who have had their pins removed hehe I hope my review helps people who need it too!!

I also included another photo I took while waiting lol The view is amazing, right... I like it because it feels like a lounge view. I feel relieved and satisfied. I hope this helps even a little!
