Review 1 year and 7 months after square-jaw and chin surgery

I’m posting a review of my square-jaw and chin surgery. I’ll keep the hospital private because I’m worried it might look like an ad for no reason. The reason I’m posting is that before I had facial contouring surgery, I desperately wanted real information more than anyone, not advertisements. I hope someone who is desperate like I was in the past sees this and gets some help.

To start with the result, I think it was a success. Both the front and side views became slimmer, so I hardly edit my face shape in photos anymore. I’ll have to keep watching for sagging from now on, but so far there has been almost none. My square jaw used to be quite large, and as the volume decreased, some skin was left over, so nasolabial folds that I never had before appeared slightly. That’s about it.

My nerve sensation has all come back, and from 2 weeks after surgery, the swelling wasn’t severe, so I could go about daily life. After just 2 weeks, I had recovered to the point that even if I met someone, they would never think I had plastic surgery; it just looked like I was a bit swollen after eating ramyeon.

Because the day of surgery and right after surgery were so painful and scary, I don’t want to recommend plastic surgery, but if your stress about your appearance is extreme, I think it can be quite a good option.

Maybe I was just lucky, but I think if you go to enough consultations, do a lot of research in a community, and decide carefully, good results will follow. I hope everyone gets good results!
