I came to share about going for a nose surgery consultation at ㅇㅍ Plastic Surgery a few days ago haha
First of all, I have a slight hump and a somewhat high nose. My nasal tip drops when I smile, and I wanted to improve the hump a bit, so I went for a consultation! Originally, I looked at reviews on apps and also searched hard in this community, and among the candidates I liked ㅇㅍ, so I went there first.
When the consultation started, they first took facial photos, and then took CT images right away too! Then the consultation went: consultant - director - consultant again.
During the consultation with the consultant, she mainly explained the overall nose shape I wanted and the overall condition of my nose?? harmony?? things like that. At that time, she told me whether my skin was on the thin or thick side and that my chin was short haha (It was my first time finding out my skin is thick and my chin is small lolololol)
Then the director came in, looked at the photos and CT, touched my nose, and talked about the surgical method and shape. It was important to me that it look natural, and I liked it because the director’s style seemed to match mine!! They said my septal cartilage is also quite large, so there is enough material,.. haha And since my nose is high, they said making it higher could make it look huge, and that the nasal tip should only be raised a little lolol So I decided to shave the hump without osteotomy, use septal cartilage for the support strut, use ear cartilage to shape the nasal tip, and remove a small amount of nasal tip fat? Since it was exactly the same direction I had been thinking before the consultation, I think it made the decision easier haha
Then I went back to the consultant, and she consulted with me about the price, whether I had allergies, and what to do after surgery and things like that. I set a date right then.
The consultation took almost an hour, and both the consultant and the director were kind, so it was a comfortable atmosphere.., After coming back, I’m planning to study a bit by looking up nose surgery textbooks and papers,, and ask everything during the consultation before surgery later haha
