I went in for a consultation about removing silicone and cartilage. As the reviews said, the consultation was straightforward and clear, but there wasn’t any warmth where they explained more or added extra details. Since my nasal bridge is on the low side, they also recommended revision surgery with dermis, but I don’t want to put anything else in my bridge anymore, so I decided to go toward removal. My previous surgery used ear cartilage and silicone, so they said it can be done with a closed approach. Since there is still slight translucency at the nasal tip now, they said they can’t just work on the nasal tip alone. It didn’t feel especially kind or anything, but they did take out a book to show me and drew pictures while explaining. Considering the consultation fee, it felt a bit disappointing, but compared with consultations at other hospitals, there were still many parts that were okay.
