*What I felt after revision surgery..
-Whether it’s your first surgery or revision surgery, you need to go somewhere that reflects your opinions well and is definitely skilled.. -You need to find a director who checks whether the double eyelid line suits your eye shape when designing it (Even if I say I want an out-fold line, I don’t recommend a director who says they’ll just do it no matter what.. Since my first surgery turned out too plain, I wondered if I should just go much more dramatic, but the director who did my revision said semi-out would suit my eyes perfectly, so I got that. Yep. Looking back now, I think choosing semi-out instead of out-fold was absolutely the right decision!!) -For double eyelids, not only the line but also the height is really important.. Your eye style looks different depending on the height, so everyone, don’t just think about in-out, in-fold, or out-fold. During consultation, make sure to ask things like whether the height is too high and whether it will look awkward on you!!
*Recovery after surgery
-Because it was natural adhesion, recovery was fast -I even had ptosis correction together during the revision, but I think recovery was faster than my first surgery? -While making the line semi-out, they also did more epicanthoplasty, and I think this was truly the key move..... It suits my eyes much better, and my eyes look bigger even without doing makeup to make the inner corners look more open!! -Even now, the swelling is still going down, but for two months post-op it doesn’t feel too much, and the line seems to be settling well, so I’m satisfied!!
For reference, since it was revision surgery, I went to a lot of consultations, but I basically visited all the hospitals famous for eye surgery lol. You can assume I went to all the hospitals that were mentioned a lot in the community....
Among them, I chose the place where I liked the director’s consultation the most and liked the line they designed, and based on the reviews, it was a place that created the naturally glamorous look I wanted well~ Since there are so many hospitals, individual preferences inevitably come into play!
