I came back after a long time to leave a rhinoplasty review and also a hospital review. There are so many ads that many people worry, and I was the same, so I wanted to leave something that could help even a little. So I’ll upload photos without any retouching so the result can be seen clearly, and I’ll try to speak as objectively as I can.
I had surgery at Kowon Plastic Surgery. As far as I know, the surgery used 5 mm silicone for the bridge, and septal cartilage plus a little ear cartilage for the nasal tip. It was raised well in a way that suited me, just like I wanted, and I don’t think it looks excessive. Even though it was raised quite a lot, when I didn’t mention it, many people didn’t notice lol It’s not like I became completely transformed, but I do think my image definitely improved! I wanted a natural look from the beginning, so I’m satisfied with the result itself. People I had told about it all gave good feedback. Some of it may have been out of courtesy, but there was nothing negative. I heard a few comments that I looked a bit more sexy than before...? I don’t know what that means, though.
I’ll have to wait more time to know about side effects, but right now it feels very comfortable. There is still a slightly firm feeling at the nasal tip, but I don’t feel it except when washing my face or making a strong facial expression. Once all the swelling goes down, I think even this feeling will disappear. I was a little worried about a foreign-body sensation, but it just feels completely like my own nose.
Compared with other plastic surgery clinics, I think the hospital itself is on the good side. First of all, the director is handsome. He gave a detailed consultation and answered everything I didn’t know. As I mentioned, I was satisfied with the surgery too. I think his style is raising it naturally. It might not suit people who want it to be very obvious, but if you really dislike an obvious look or are getting revision surgery, I think it’s recommendable. There was no pressure such as forcing a reservation deposit. They do suggest things like reviews or ointment to apply after surgery, and of course it’s their livelihood, but there was no pressure at all. I thought that part was very decent. If there was something slightly disappointing, it was just that I had some things to ask on the day of surgery, but proceeded without being able to ask all of them. It was one of the places often mentioned for rhinoplasty, so on one hand I wondered if those were ads, but it was fine.
Honestly, thankfully nothing much happened... so I don’t really come to this community often either, and I can’t think of much to say. I think I’ll stop cosmetic surgery here.
