Review on day 5 after rhinoplasty
It really doesn’t hurt at all. Looking at other people’s reviews, I think I saw posts saying the area where ear cartilage was taken hurt, but maybe I’m insensitive because my nose and ear don’t hurt at all. Other than my throat being a little sore because of the general anesthesia, I’m completely fine. And I don’t know why, but they didn’t stuff cotton into my nose, so except for nosebleeds up to day 2, I could breathe well and eat well
It was a surgery I had been thinking about for a long time, so I didn’t feel a big burden before surgery either, and even now I’m not too worried I’m just waiting for the day the splint comes off. The consultant I had my consultation with said there wouldn’t be much swelling, and now that I’m around day 5, even when I wake up in the morning there isn’t much swelling and there’s no bruising either
I’ll know once the splint comes off, but I only regret why I didn’t have the surgery sooner hahaha Because I work at a company, I kept touching up my nose little by little, and when I think of that cost it just feels like such a waste I want to get the splint off and go around looking pretty soon
