Nose Surgery Reviews

My first rhinoplasty consultation review

First of all, my nose has a low bridge, a high nasal tip (needs short-nose correction), and the skin on the tip is on the thicker side, and I don’t really have any aversion to silicone or implants.

For the price range, if it’s too low it feels suspicious, so I’m thinking somewhere within about 3–4 million won.

1. ㅇㄴㅅㅌ I wanted to lower my nasal tip slightly, but they suggested projecting it straight out toward the front and downward. For the bridge, they recommended about 3.5 mm of silicone. For the tip, they recommended donated rib cartilage. They told me the septal cartilage could possibly bend, and said that using donated rib cartilage would make it possible to bring out the columella. When I said I don’t like a rounded nasal tip, they said bulbous nose correction would be included as well. The consultation with the consultant was fine, and the director also seemed very professional. Since there is only one director, they said he would personally check my progress every time too, so it felt pretty trustworthy. I also liked that the clinic is famous for revision surgeries and handles many difficult cases... But it did feel like they pursue a slightly flashy design.

Also, all the other plastic surgery clinics said that since it’s my first surgery, they would only use septal cartilage and ear cartilage... but only this place suggested using donated rib cartilage, so I’m a bit unsure.

The price becomes much cheaper if you pay the deposit on the same day, so I did put one down for now... (90% of the deposit is refundable up to 3 days before the scheduled surgery date)

2. ㅂㅌㅇ The consultation with the consultant was just so-so. The director understood the nose shape I wanted very well. He also touched my nose directly and shaped it with a cotton swab, and I liked it. This place said septal cartilage and ear cartilage would be enough for the nasal tip material. If using customized silicone, it’s in the mid-4 million won range; with basic silicone, it’s in the mid-3 million won range. I’m only a bit worried because there aren’t many reviews lol. I liked the director’s consultation the most.

3. ㄴㄴ It felt like a factory-style clinic. I requested and received a consultation with the representative director. The consultation content was the same as before... 3.5 mm silicone for the bridge, and septal cartilage plus ear cartilage recommended for the tip. The price was cheap, in the 2.8 million won range lol.

Since I’m only doing this once, I thought it would be better to do it properly, so I put down a reservation at ㅇㄴㅅㅌ... If any of you have had surgery at ㅇㄴㅅㅌ or ㅂㅌㅇ, please let me know
