As of today, I’ve been to a total of 7 places, and two of them were plastic surgery clinics I went to through acquaintances or people I know. At the places my acquaintances knew, both said that if I wanted to make the nose shape I want, I wouldn’t necessarily need donated rib cartilage or my own rib cartilage, and that my septal cartilage and ear cartilage would be enough to achieve the shape I want. But all the clinics I found and went to on my own said my septal cartilage is smaller than average, so I’d need to use donated rib cartilage or my own rib cartilage.
At one clinic today, while looking at the CT, they said that to make the shape I want, about 3 cm of material is needed, but my septal cartilage is around 2 cm, so they think I’d need to use donated rib cartilage.
If you were me, do you think you’d use donated rib cartilage, or would you just do it with septal cartilage and ear cartilage??
