Following my previous consultation review for Hani Plastic Surgery, this is my surgery review. Right after surgery, the whites of my eyes became a little red, so I was worried, but as the clinic instructed, I did cold compresses well, and from around day 4, the swelling gradually went down and the bloodshot redness also subsided. Until day 3 after surgery, I really looked like a monster lol, but around the time the stitches were removed, everything improved almost magically. After 2 weeks, the redness in the whites of my eyes completely disappeared, and since it was an incision, there is still some swelling, but I really, really like the line.
I had surgery on Friday the 13th and had the stitches removed the following Saturday. It healed well, and they said that once the swelling from the canthoplasty goes down more, my eyes will get even bigger haha Because it overlapped with the Chuseok holiday, I used annual leave to do it, and I went back to work on day 11. It was a little embarrassing, but I only got a bit of attention on the first day haha From the next day on, nobody cared. About two people in my department even said the line came out well and asked for the clinic information! Also, my outer eye corners used to turn upward, but after the canthoplasty they went down slightly, and I was told my impression looked softer.
When I had my first surgery at another clinic, there was no particular aftercare after the stitches were removed, but here they schedule weekly visits, give swelling laser treatments, and the director checks the progress. They take careful care of questions and things that need action, so I really trust them.
Once the swelling goes down a little more, I’ll bring a photo review too!!
