I didn’t read the reviews properly, got exhausted from too many clinics, and while getting consultations my judgment got clouded, so later I just suddenly said, “Please do the surgery tomorrow,” and had surgery right the day after the consultation at that clinic.
I didn’t know I would end up this badly ruined either.
As soon as the splint came off, it became crooked. Both the director and I panicked, and maybe sensing the crisis, on the day the splint was removed, I went into an A/S revision surgery crying. After that, my nostrils became even more pinched, and this is my current condition.
Even if it looks pretty at a quick side glance, I look like a long-nosed monkey, with looking older as a bonus. The columella is crooked and the nostrils are uneven. When I smile, the nasal tip gets longer, making it a hooked nose. Even putting the cosmetic part aside, recently I saw myself in a left-right reversed Realme mirror and was so shocked I almost fell backward.
Most of all, my right nostril has practically stuck shut, so I can’t breathe, and when I had a CT scan, I was found to have septal deviation and rhinitis that I didn’t have before, so now I’m in a condition where insurance-covered surgery is possible. For the past year, I lived with the shape of a failed surgery, with the mental shock + the discomfort of not being able to breathe through my nose + developing a snoring habit because of it + dry mouth + not being able to blow my nose + not even being able to put a finger into my right nostril.
I truly experienced a sharp drop in quality of life, came to my senses, frantically looked up clinics and went to consultations, and I’m scheduled for revision surgery at another clinic this August^^......
Don’t become a case like mine. Ha, I’m a case that paid money, wasted life and time, and suffered like crazy.
