My first surgery was when I had no information at all. I had it done at the ENT department of B Hospital in Gwanak-gu.
Since I was getting surgery for a deviated septum, I also did the nasal tip and the bridge, but because I had resistance to silicone, I used costal cartilage for the bridge and septal cartilage for the nasal tip. The result was that my nose looked like it had been pinched with a clothespin, and the blunt feeling of my bulbous nose did not change.
Then, a few years later, I went to a plastic surgery clinic in Cheongdam-dong. There, they reduced the size of the alar base by cutting the middle, like the surgery Black people get, and through the opened nasal ala, they released the cartilage that had been tied. They also performed nostril lowering, but since it was a revision surgery without opening the middle of the nose, I think the effect wasn’t that significant.
Of course, aesthetically, it was better than the first surgery, but the blunt nasal tip and wide nasal base still did not improve.
So for my third surgery, I want to try somewhere that is good at bulbous nose correction, and I’m gathering various information. I hope it goes well ㅠ.ㅠ
