Tomorrow will mark 6 months since I had nose surgery from Director Han Dae-hee at Edition Plastic Surgery.

After I wrote the 3-month progress post, the hospital contacted me in July.
When they called, they said the manager in charge was on vacation and could not be reached, so they were sorry on the manager’s behalf and asked if I would come to the hospital and talk with them once. I had nothing more to say, but the department head who called me, as if adding fuel to the fire, said,
“Looking at your current condition, it’s not like your nose is wrong or that it’s a nose that’s just not pretty, right?”
I said, “No, I feel like I’m going to develop a mental illness because of this nose right now.”
They said, “Oh, really? Then didn’t you come that day and talk about it in a little more detail?”
As for me, from the very day the splint was removed, I kept bringing it up at every follow-up, but the director said no, it was fine, and disappeared.
During the call, they just kept repeating the same thing, and it only seemed like they were desperate to get me to take down the post. When I asked what exactly they were trying to say,
They said, “If you could make time, we would discuss once again with the director what surgery you want, and if it is something we can do for you, we will definitely do it for you, so we hoped you could ease your anger a little...”
It failed here and I lost all trust, so how could I get revision surgery here? I had said several times that I would not get revision surgery here again.. At follow-ups they kept saying it was fine, it was fine, but maybe they knew it had failed, because it was absurd that they called only after I uploaded a post. And you hid my post on this community.
Even at the 3-month follow-up, the director said that even if he shaved down the dorsal hump, he could not guarantee it would become smooth, and that it could instead look even stranger. He was talking about filling it with filler if the insufficiently shaved hump on the operated nose bothered me, so what more was there to talk about?
And the person who called said,
“Ah, from what I heard the director say, he was simply saying that if this is shaved down, it will get lower, and if it gets worse than this and becomes lower, it could look worse, so he was asking whether you would be okay with that.”
They spoke like that, completely leaving out the part about filler, so when I said I have a recording, should I send it to you? they said,
“Oh, you did? Then could you send it once, since the director says that?”
So I said, then could I also receive the full CCTV footage? and they said,
“You can receive the CCTV footage, but that is something you receive when you file a report and it becomes an issue. Right now, there is no legal issue with us or anything like that, is there?”
So I said that when I look at the current state of my nose, I am so stressed that I even doubt whether the director really performed it, and they said,
“If you come, we’ll play it for you in the CCTV room. Yes, we’ll play it, so come and watch it, and there is a cost for watching the CCTV from beginning to end. You can pay that and watch it.”
So I have to pay to watch the CCTV footage of my own surgery? Those of you who plan to have surgery here, please take note.
Also, I had surgery because my hooked nose was a complex of mine, but what they said was,
“We performed the surgery while preserving the part with the dorsal hump, and the director explained this together with you.”
This was something I had never heard in my life, and I had surgery because the dorsal hump stressed me out, and that was why dermis was even intentionally added, so I was extremely flustered. And I did not receive an apology afterward.
Also, they said that if unevenness is visible, they inject filler or fat grafting, and that it is written in the consent form and explained, but even that content was something I was hearing for the first time.
Current nose condition There is not much difference from the previous post. The lines on both sides are different, it is bumpy, the nostrils are uneven, the alar cartilages protrude, only the nasal tip is grotesquely high and looks like Pinocchio. My nose is still hard. I endured while waiting only for the 6-month mark, but I don’t even know whether revision surgery is possible in this state.
Messages I received from other people who had surgery at this clinic after I uploaded the post
A: They brought in a reference image saying they hated this nose, but the surgery was done in that exact nose shape + they left comments on Instagram and YouTube,
and apparently the chart said “person who spams comments on SNS” haha...
B: Had alar base lowering, but it was uneven so they had revision surgery. But an indentation formed.
C: Columella asymmetry, pinching above the nostril, ear shape deformity at the cartilage harvest site.
There were many people going through difficulties like this, and because I understand that feeling so well, I felt upset for them too. When I heard they wrote something like that in the chart, I was truly dumbfounded. I wonder what they wrote about me.

This post is not written to spread false information in order to criticize the hospital or damage its reputation, and I state that there is no false information whatsoever in the content of this post. This post was written with the hope that it will help people interested in plastic surgery make decisions, and it was written based on the “rights of consumers” guaranteed by our Constitution and the Framework Act on Consumers.
