It’s day 3 after rhinoplasty ㅠㅠ I had septal deviation correction / hump osteotomy / silicone implant insertion / nasal tip with ear cartilage
1. After the cotton packing was removed, I could breathe for about an hour, but then it got blocked again I think it’s blocked because of blood and nasal discharge, but when I breathe through my nose, I can barely breathe and there’s a lot of nasal sound I looked up posts here and there, and many said it gets a bit better after the splint is removed / it gets better after the nasal support is removed / it’s normally uncomfortable between one week and one month So that’s at least a bit comforting ㅠㅠ But isn’t there usually not much sound? It’s similar to having a cold, but there’s a lot of squelching/crackling sound, and I can barely breathe through my nose..
2. When you have the splint on, do you normally look like an Avatar..? The splint is really thick, but my side profile looks like an Avatar I originally had somewhat of a nasal bridge, so I was going to do functional rhinoplasty without an implant, but I changed my mind at the last minute and put in 3 mm silicone.. I’m so worried that even after removing it and the swelling goes down, the area between my brows will still look Avatar-like..
