I’m a high school senior now, but in the past, after graduating middle school, I got double eyelid surgery here as a commemoration. Even though my eyes were already open at the inner corners, they pushed epicanthoplasty on me + even pushed ptosis correction, which other clinics said I absolutely did not need. At the time, this was the only place that could do surgery on the date I wanted, so I had no choice but to go through with it. But even now, quite a lot of time has passed and my eyes still tend to look swollen, like sausage eyes, and other people can barely see any effect from the epicanthoplasty (probably because my inner corners were already open, so they only did it very slightly), but the scarring is severe, so I’m really stressed. Once I become an adult, I plan to research carefully and have revision surgery..ㅜ And I still remember how, because I was young, they explained things roughly, didn’t respect my opinion, and proceeded with surgery in a coercive way.
