I am a high school senior now, but in the past, after graduating middle school, I got double eyelid surgery here as a commemorative thing, and my eyes were already somewhat open. Even so, they pressured me into epicanthoplasty + also wanted to do ptosis correction, which another clinic said was completely unnecessary. Back then this was the only place where I could get surgery on the date I wanted, so I had no choice but to go through with it, but even now, after a long time has passed, the swelling still tends to remain and my eyes look like sausage eyes. To other people, the epicanthoplasty effect is basically nonexistent (probably because my eyes were already open, so they only did it very slightly), but the scar is severe and it is really stressful. After I become an adult, I plan to research carefully and get revision surgery.. And I still remember that because I was young, they explained things carelessly, did not respect my opinion, and pushed ahead with the surgery in a forceful way.
