I disliked my existing sausage-like scar, so I had revision surgery with incisional ptosis correction, and even though it’s now 2 weeks after surgery, when I look downward, the step-like scar is severe. They say that as time passes, the flesh will come in, the swelling will go down, and it will become flat, but honestly, I keep wondering whether this is really a problem that will be resolved just by waiting.
