I’ve finally reached week 2. After rhinoplasty, I kept wondering when time would pass, and now this moment has come. The swelling is slowly going down, and I guess you could say the shape of my nose is settling in. I’m getting used to how I look now. I’m happy because my nose turned out so well. The doctor explained the things I was curious about in detail, and the consultant and the teachers who treated me were gentle, so there was less pain than I had worried about, which was really nice. Also, as the swelling goes down day by day, the look that used to feel plain or bland now has more definition, so I like it. From now on, I’ll need to take good care of myself.
