While consulting with the director, we looked in the mirror together, and he slightly lifted the nasal tip, then said the height would be raised about this much and that he would use the septal cartilage, with silicone for the glabella. Since my asymmetry is more severe than other people’s, he wanted to perform an osteotomy on the right side. He said that way, it would not look crooked. He said he does not use ready-made silicone, but carves it to match my facial contours, forehead, nasal bridge, and nasal tip line before inserting it. He said he performs surgery for only one person per day in the morning, so I trusted him a bit more. Other hospitals often seemed factory-style.
