7 years ago I had surgery with a partial incision + fat removal, but it all came undone, so 2 years later I had revision surgery with buried sutures at the same hospital -> after that it came undone again, so I kept worrying and this time I went for revision surgery consultations!! I set a date, came up from the provinces, visited 3 places, and went back down
1. ㅇㅁㄹ Plastic Surgery (Director ㄱㅎㅈ) When I said it was my first time visiting, the consultant explained every single thing about eye surgery (canthoplasty, surgical methods, etc.)!! The consultant said the left inner corner area drooped a bit more, so I might need upper epicanthoplasty only on the left, but when the director tested the line, he said it would be needed to match the lines well, but that I didn’t necessarily have to do it!! My pupils also sit high like sanpaku eyes, and the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is close, so he said to raise the line just a tiny bit from the original line, and because I have severe ptosis + eyes that come undone easily, we should do incision + ptosis correction in an in-out line so it comes undone as little as possible The director’s surgery was delayed, so the consultation was delayed by about an hour, and because of that the consultant said sorry and gave me a small discount lol (297) Since it was my first visit, they told me to look around more and contact them, with no pressure to book, so that was good
2. ㅌㅇㅅ Plastic Surgery (Director ㅇㅈㅍ) I went because I heard this place is good at somewhat glamorous lines too, but it was the only place where I paid a consultation fee (10,000), and I had the shortest consultation At the second and third places, they also took facial photos and explained with them, but here the director just quickly made lines by himself and came to a conclusion, so the consultation fee felt a bit wasteful He said incision was the right choice and that I needed everything up to fat removal and ptosis correction!! For the line, he said in-out; right now it’s about 7.5 mm, and we should raise it just a little more to 8 mm They said they would give a discount if I booked today, but when I looked at things like the hospital booklet, it wasn’t my style, and the line didn’t look particularly different from the previous place, so I left without booking The price was the cheapest (250!!)
3. ㅇㅇㅋㅌ Plastic Surgery I went because they said they specialize in oculoplastic surgery!! They said it was a one-doctor clinic, and because I arrived earlier than my appointment time, they said he was in surgery, so I waited until my appointment time and then had the consultation Here too, they took photos and consulted while looking based on those photos When I said my eyes seemed small so I wanted a large line, he said they were absolutely not small eyes, and that I open my eyes straight well; it’s just that the double-eyelid line has completely come undone + I have gentle-looking eyes (lol), so the eyes look droopy. He said because I’m young and open my eyes well, I absolutely don’t need ptosis correction, which made me trust him… He said other hospitals may see it that way when they recommend ptosis correction, but he absolutely doesn’t think so, and he strongly advised against it, saying that if I do ptosis correction, I’ll get rabbit eyes He said the surgery itself does need to be done by incision, and because I have a lot of eyelid fat, fat removal would probably be needed! Also, other hospitals didn’t mention scars, but here he said that for partial incision, the surgical scar is large and the scar is clearly visible from the outside, so if he opens it up while doing the incision, there will probably be a lot of scar tissue inside too, and he said we should remove as much as possible while making it pretty, so I thought he seemed very meticulous He asked if I was thinking about canthoplasty, and when I said no, he said my eyes aren’t the type that need it anyway, so then I don’t have to do it For the line, he said to do it between semi-out and in-out, similar to my original line The original price was 3.19 million won including fat removal, but he said if I booked today he would take off the fat removal price, so I booked for 2.86 million won!! All three hospitals said the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is short + I have a lot of orbital fat + my pupils sit high (sanpaku eyes), so the lines were all similar and the procedures were similar, so the prices were also similar And based on what I’ve seen so far, they said my eyes themselves seem to come undone easily, so they can’t guarantee they won’t come undone at all even with incision It’s hard to go back and forth to Seoul, so I’m going to look around again near home too, but for now I’m currently leaning toward ㅇㅇㅋㅌ
