After facial liposuction, the effect was so good that I did my arms next, which had been my next concern! The total cost for my face was 640,000 won, but because the arms involved a larger volume, the cost was much higher.. At the same hospital, the full arms were around 1.5 million won. Other hospitals were all about that much too, so I thought I’d have to save money for a long time if I wanted to do my arms, but I found a very inexpensive hospital and ended up having the surgery. The total cost was 900,000 won, and it was arms 360 + accessory breasts + scapular area. Originally it was 800,000 won, but if the arm circumference is 45 cm or more, they add 100,000 won each. Mine came out exactly 45, so 100,000 won was addedㅜ
And the most important reason the price is cheap! They don’t use sleep anesthesia, and there is no postoperative care at all.
For postoperative care, I didn’t really have any when I had facial liposuction before either, and there were no problems from that, so I didn’t worry about it. Also, I do dislike pain, but I’m pretty good at tolerating it, so I just braced myself and did it without sleep anesthesia! As for the pain, it hurts like f***. It hurt so much that I suddenly felt skeptical about lookism. But pain is something you forget quickly anyway...
Starting with the result, I’m about 70% satisfied. To summarize the pros and cons:
Pros 1. It’s cheap 2. The upper arms, back side, and accessory breasts definitely slim down well.
Cons 1. Scars (about six 1 cm scars, plus taping scars remained) 2. The lower side of the arm (the upper-arm side of the arm fold) did not slim down
The advantage is, as expected, that the cost is really low. Everywhere else was 1.5 million won, but here it’s 900,000 won, so compared with other hospitals, the price is around 60% and almost half as cheap. (Of course, on the condition that I leave a review.)
And they really remove the fat well from the back side of the arms. The shoulder area especially slimmed down beautifully, so my once bulky-looking build now even feels delicate (lol)! Sleeveless tops, as well as tight cardigans and T-shirts, suit me well now, so I’m happy...
But the disappointing point is that the area from the upper arm to the arm fold, in other words the front side of the arm, seems not to have slimmed down at all. The part of the arm usually visible when wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt (excluding the forearm) didn’t slim down at all, so when I wear short sleeves, it looks similar to before... And the front side of the arm really seems not to have slimmed down at all. How I’m sure is this: When you pinch the skin like with tongs, you can feel the skin thickness, right? My skin is originally very thick all over my body. But in areas where I had liposuction, that skin thickness became thinner! My face, double chin, and back side of the arms all have a much thinner skin layer. But the front side of my arms is exactly the same as before..!
And it’s disappointing that some scars remain. They remained darker than I expected... Plus, I didn’t know taping could also leave scars.... If they had paid just a little more attention to scar care, I think my satisfaction would have been 85.
The biobond has mostly gone down now after 3 months. But biobond scars remained too... I looked it up and it said they’ll disappear anyway, so I’m waiting. They really are gradually fading. (Still, even now, when I go to a spa and get a massage, it feels like my skin is tearing.) There is absolutely no difficulty in daily life!
Anyway, I am considering mini liposuction for the parts of my arms that didn’t slim down... but basically, I’m satisfied! The effect is really clear.
