I had a 3-way lower canthoplasty three years ago. My eyes did get bigger, but not dramatically. Still, my impression became really much softer, and people who see me after a long time say I now look much kinder. Even to my own eyes, I changed from a stuffy, upward-tilted, old-fashioned eye shape to a cute, round one, and unless I say something, nobody knows I had lower canthoplasty. The outer corners are shaped like a normal person's eyes, too. There is no scar tissue, and if you look very closely you can see the stitch marks, but only if I look extremely closely myself.
