I had a 3-way rear canthoplasty three years ago. My eyes did get bigger, but not dramatically. Still, my impression became really gentler, and people who see me after a long time say my face has changed to look much kinder. Even to my own eyes, I went from a stuffy, upturned, old-fashioned eye shape to cute, rounder eyes, and if I don’t say anything, no one can tell I had a rear canthoplasty. The outer corners of my eyes have a normal pointed shape too. There’s no scar tissue, and if you look very closely you can see a suture mark, but even that only shows if I look extremely closely.
