Review after consultation rounds for facial contouring at View Plastic Surgery

Director Lee Dong-hoon at View Plastic Surgery Photo fee: 10,000 KRW

Last time I posted a short review of my consultation at DA, and this time I’ll post about View. First, I checked in on the 1st floor, and this took the longest.. Maybe because my consultation was at 10, but there was only one staff member at the reception desk. Another staff member came in later, but customers were lined up, processing was slow, so it was frustrating.

After checking in, I went to the basement to take photos, then went straight to the 4th floor and waited for the consultation. There wasn’t much waiting itself, so that was good. I had the consultation with the consultant first, and she recommended what would be good to do. Then about 5 minutes later, I went in for the doctor’s consultation.

Honestly, I went to View with no expectations at all, so I didn’t even designate a doctor and just booked a consultation, asking them to put me with whoever was available. (There are 2 doctors in charge of facial contouring.)

As soon as I went in, the Pokemon sticker on the back of the doctor’s phone caught my eye the most, but anyway, it was nice that he sat very close and consulted while touching my face. The doctor addressed me politely and was very gentle and kind. But when I asked something, it felt like he answered only exactly that question? If I wanted more details, it felt like I had to keep asking very specific follow-up questions, so it didn’t feel totally satisfying. He did look at the overall facial balance and talked about things from various angles, but it didn’t feel very detailed.

For example, it was like this: Me: I heard people usually check the position of the nerve line too. How much can be shaved off in my case? View: It’s high, so you don’t need to worry about it ^^(kind) Me:.....(???) View: ^^ Is there anything you don’t understand or want to ask more about? (gentle) Me: So how much can be shaved off at most? View: About 5 mm?

For things like whether muscle resection would be done, I had to ask for him to answer, so I felt like his style didn’t match mine. But that’s just not matching me; the doctor himself seemed very calm, so he did feel trustworthy. And he delivers blunt truths very gently, so I think he’s suitable for diagnosing my face lol He would say, “I’m sorry, but your face is in a ~~ state^^ That won’t work^^,” and I actually liked that kind of blunt honesty. The consultant consultation was also calm, with no pressure to put down a deposit. The consultant felt similar to the doctor.

From check-in to finishing all consultations, it took about an hour.

If Director Lee Dong-chan at DA, whose review I posted last time, is a very straightforward and confident style, Director Lee Dong-hoon at View felt like the complete opposite?

Maybe because it’s a large hospital, the facilities were good, and there really were a huge number of people regardless of nationality..

I’m going to Note next week, and I plan to post a review of that too!
