I have a retruded chin, so I used to absolutely hate taking photos. Then I found out about chin advancement surgery, did some research, and went to a clinic to shop around.
First of all, for this place, you need to book a consultation about a month in advance to have some leeway! The consultation fee was about 10,000 won, and when I went, they took several photos. At first I consulted with the consultation manager, and later I also consulted with the director while looking at my photos. I hadn’t even known my airway was short.. lololol My airway is small too, so they said I breathe less than other people. When I used to go to a university hospital, they had said my nostrils were smaller than other people’s so I breathe less, but I never thought even my airway would be small....
Anyway, they said that if I get chin advancement, it would improve my retruded chin and slightly widen my airway, so breathing would become easier than before. In my case, they said I would need to advance it about 6 mm, and the consultation itself was comfortable and good!! When I asked all the things I was curious and worried about, they kindly answered everything. I didn’t want to go alone, so I brought a friend and we went into the consultation room together, and even when my friend asked questions, they explained in detail.
Since it is bone-cutting surgery, I was scared, but they said if I only do the chin tip, recovery takes about a week. Of course, full recovery would take longer.
Because I work at a company, I don’t have time to shop around, so for now I only went to that clinic, but I’m going to slowly look into other places too. I also need to save money, so I think it will take time.. haha Honestly, since I’m really lazy, I do sort of feel like maybe I should just do it here, but right now I’m not sure... lolol
