My breast type is kind of hollow in the upper breast and concentrated in the lower breast (at least somewhat..) The inframammary fold is also somewhat pronounced. Rib cage is 70, breast pocket 12 ----------------Based on this, I’ll share the diagnoses I received and the consultation details from the clinics.
A. The Plastic Surgery The hospital is fairly large, but there weren’t many people (maybe because I went early in the morning). The director explained things calmly and gently. But the consultation manager did push me a bit to make a reservation.. The desk staff were just okay, I think. They were on the friendly side. There was photo-taking, and after a staff member took the photos and I waited, I met the manager first, then had the director’s consultation, then another consultation with the manager, heard the quote, and decided whether to book or not. At that point, when I said I had another consultation scheduled next, they asked where it was and attached a lot of review discount conditions. Like if I filmed and uploaded a video too, the discount could go this far, but if I didn’t decide right now, those terms wouldn’t apply. It felt slightly burdensome.. Aside from that, they were kind and I was satisfied. AS is lifetime, and they didn’t explain what aftercare includes, so when I asked what there was, they said, “It’s on the homepage??” and explained briefly. I didn’t hear it well, so as I left, I went onto the homepage and looked again.. For implants, they recommended Sebbin and Motiva, and among them they recommended Motiva more because it has a better fill rate and is more advantageous for creating volume. They said around 340 cc to 355 cc should be enough. For the incision, both armpit and inframammary are fine, but since I have an inframammary fold, they recommended an inframammary incision.
B. Glam The hospital doesn’t seem huge, but the facilities were clean and there were some people. Here, the manager took the photos herself, then I consulted right away with the manager, then the director, then the manager again, like that. While taking the photos, the manager already made most of the plan. She smoothly explained implants, surgical method, incision, and so on. She explains details well. The director was blunt, and the consultation didn’t take long, maybe about 5 minutes? He measured the breast pocket and rib cage, checked skin elasticity, and said Motiva 335 cc was the maximum. When I asked about Sebbin too, he said Sebbin is possible, but because the fill rate is lower, Motiva is better for filling the upper breast. For the incision, since my inframammary fold is pronounced, he said an inframammary incision would be good. Then the manager added more explanation, saying this clinic really puts a lot of effort into aftercare and is confident in that area. Even after the basic 1-year care, whenever I come in, they add whatever care is needed, and because the director is a breast surgery specialist, he personally checks the ultrasound too. They said they show the operating room CCTV from beginning to end. They said they really do it cleanly, with sterile filters on the ceiling and so on. They explained so much that I don’t remember well. (They said the manager has stayed only at Glam the whole time.. So the consultation was smooth, and even when I asked questions, she answered everything fluently. She also explained all the possible side effects.) Oh, and here too AS is lifetime, and aftercare is, as I said earlier, basic care for 1 year plus continued care afterward.
In conclusion, I’m deciding between Sebbin and Motiva for the implant (Glam also said if I want Sebbin, I can do it). Since Sebbin is on the cheaper side, I wondered if I should do Sebbin because of the cost.. But this is surgery to become prettier, so I wonder if choosing the cheaper option while thinking about cost is really right. Right now I feel more like, since I’m doing it once anyway, let’s do it properly.
I’ve narrowed down the hospital to some extent, and I think it’ll be okay once I decide on the implant, but nothing is finalized yet, so I want to visit more hospitals. I’m going to look around and decide, because with anything, being careful is better than rushing.
