Before before before before Since it’s a major surgery that involves shaving bone, I’m writing this at length in the hope that it will be at least a little help to people who are as worried as I was
I used to be very stressed about my 45-degree cheekbones and side cheekbones. Actually, a few years ago I had consultations at other places too, but I didn’t have the courage, so I forgot about it for a while. Then I felt I couldn’t keep going like that, so I started looking again
I had surgery at Yungwakui Jeongseok The reviews were detailed and very good, and since it was a fairly new hospital, I thought they would take good care of me, so I went thinking I’d just get a consultation The consultation managers were so kind, and even though it was just a consultation while shopping around, I got to meet Director Oh Jeong-seok and talk in more detail, which was nice haha I didn’t know this, but there was also an anesthesiology director. The surgery cost was exactly as quoted, with no extra charges!
Even though it was my first consultation after making up my mind, I developed 200% trust, so I scheduled the surgery date that very day I just had a strong feeling. By nature I’m very suspicious and sensitive, but there was nothing that felt off at all
As you’ll know after talking with him a few times, the director seems honest and straightforward, without lies, and seems like the type who can’t just say what sounds nice. It gives a lot of trust
The consultation manager was also so kind, and similarly treated me warmly and plainly, like an older sister At the place I consulted a few years ago, the manager had a bit of a power-struggle vibe, so I felt intimidated, but the manager here is really sincere and makes you feel comfortable I thought I’d only be able to have surgery after a few weeks, but they said it was possible as soon as the next week, so I booked it for the morning of 9/28 without delay. Looking at the reviews, people said the director’s experience is also very good
Below is the review I wrote over two days just in case
<Day 1> When they were giving anesthesia, the anesthesiologist told me to take a deep breath, but even after a few seconds the anesthesia didn’t take. So I thought, ‘Am I someone who doesn’t respond to anesthesia, like Noh Hong-chul? What do I do?’ and when I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room..
It was my first surgery ever, so the day before I couldn’t sleep properly because I was thinking all sorts of things, like what if something serious happens during surgery, but fortunately it ended safely
When I consulted with the director before going into surgery, I showed him a photo of the celebrity look I wanted, and he said this would be worse than not doing it, and if I’m going to have surgery, wouldn’t it be better for it not to feel like a waste? But what do you know? I seriously love it. I feel reborn,, If I’d done it the way I originally wanted, I really would have regretted it As the anesthesia was wearing off and I was groggy in the recovery room, I remember the doctor coming in midway and saying he had done his best. They said the surgery finished quickly. I’m not someone with an anesthesia issue, and at first it hurt so much that I regretted why I did it. But when I came home and looked in the mirror, even though I was swollen, I could clearly feel that the bone had been reduced, so I felt good. Since the cheekbones were reduced, my eyes looked bigger. Other people said they were okay on the first day, but maybe my constitution is different; I was swollen and in pain from the first day
<Day 2> It hurts less than yesterday. After doing some ice compresses and taking medicine, it’s definitely better. The right side of my face didn’t move yesterday, but it’s gradually loosening up. I searched cheekbone surgery reviews on YouTube, and some people had drains, and some had surgery after drawing on their face with a pen. Here there wasn’t anything like that, and I feel I’m much better off than other people, so I’m feeling reassured After comparing reviews, I think Director Oh Jeong-seok is really good
—————————
The swelling went down rapidly every day for 2 weeks, and the cheekbone scar really doesn’t show I asked people around me and they said they can’t see it at all It’s the 2nd week for bruising, but it’s light enough to cover with makeup. Compared with the effort I put in, I’m satisfied because the swelling seems to have gone down really well. Listening to the director and reducing the cheekbones was really a stroke of genius. I was worried it might look too obvious, but there was no need to worry at all, and the more the swelling goes down, the more natural it’s becoming! My 45-degree cheekbones protruded a lot and made me look really stubborn, but now my impression feels softer, and the side cheekbones have also gone in quite a lot, so I’m so happy haha
He speaks really honestly, so everyone, come here while shopping around for consultations. I’m tired of bragging about it everywhere now lol. It was truly a lifelong concern, and I feel like I should live bowing every day in the direction of Yungwakui Jeongseok. Thank you!
