Hello. I want to level up, so I’m sharing a review of buried-suture double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + a very slight medial epicanthoplasty from more than 10 years ago.
I originally had double eyelids, but they were almost inner double eyelids, and because my eye-opening strength was weak, I often heard people ask if I was sleepy, which stressed me out. So more than 10 years ago, when I was a tiny 20-year-old, I just headed to Seoul to get ptosis correction. It was a clinic recommended by my older biological sister, who is 8 years older and was very knowledgeable about plastic surgery at the time.
They said buried-suture double eyelid surgery was necessary with ptosis correction, so I did it. They also said we should do a very~ slight medial epicanthoplasty, just a touch so subtle it was almost opened but not opened, because that would keep my eyes from looking stuffy and make them pretty, I think. As a result, I feel like wherever I go I always hear that my eyes are pretty. They just made my original double-eyelid line a little bigger and fixed it, so it looks really natural, and even after more than 10 years it hasn’t come undone and is holding firmly. But the only thing is, I originally didn’t have an epicanthal fold, and after the medial epicanthoplasty, a little bit of something like an epicanthal fold formed at the inner corner, which is upsetting.. Still, as a result, I like that my eyes became prettier.
If you’re considering buried-suture double eyelid surgery, I really strongly recommend this clinic. After seeing my eyes, many of my older sister’s friends went there too. My friends all asked about it as well. The price isn’t on the cheap side, but their skill is definitely solid.
