I’m someone with minus vision, myopia, very thick eggshell lenses, and I even had optic neuritis twice in my life.
Several people around me had it done, but because I’d once had eye pain so severe that everything went black and I couldn’t see anything, I was so scared of surgery on my eyeballs that I didn’t do it.
Then one day, I suddenly had a strong thought that I should do it, so after thinking about it for a couple of months, I had it done at the place I’d been going to for years without even looking elsewhere.
Was it SMILE LASEK or Smart LASIK? I don’t remember.......... Anyway, it was a hospital I trusted and had been going to, and they also do a lot of vision correction surgeries, so I scheduled a consultation right away without hesitation, set the date that same day, and had surgery about a week later.
I regretted it.
Why did I only do it now....
Of course, it hurt like hell for 3-4 days after surgery.
Now I’m living very comfortably, and just as they explained, I’m seeing “similar to or better than what I could see with glasses.”

A male medical staff member next to me said, 10 seconds have passed, 15 seconds have passed, while putting in eye drops (seemed like anesthetic) Then they brushed across my eyeball three or four times with something like a brush, and I guess that was the scraping part.......... After that, they poured a lot of what seemed like saline or something continuously, and the operating director told me, “I’m wiping it off,” so I wouldn’t be startled. I was really scared...............ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ My hands were stiff, and I felt like I was trembling... I left the hospital around 17:20 June 10 Able to drive. When looking at the monitor, I have to move my head forward by about 1/3 of the previous distance with turtle neck posture, and I have to squint to see it June 11 There is still some double vision, but the spacing of the overlap has decreased a bit. June 12 Morning, double vision, continuing to put in artificial tears.
