I originally wore glasses that were almost like magnifying glasses, with vision of -7.
I still remember the day I had the surgery. My eyes were open, and some strange machine gradually came closer in front of my eyes. There was a smell like flesh burning around my nose, but my eyes themselves didn't hurt at all, so I thought, "This is less of a big deal than I expected?" and went home. But what do you mean it was no big deal? I'm really not joking, once the anesthesia wore off, it felt like this must be what it feels like to have fire applied directly to your eyeballs, and I writhed in pain... I spent several days in pain, then gradually got better. My vision went up to 1.5, then dropped back to 0.9, and now it's fluctuating like crazy lol Anyway, I'm living happily without any major problems.
