The first time I went to a plastic surgery clinic was because I wanted to make my monolid eyes into double eyelids. They said we should do suture double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty, so I agreed and went ahead with the surgery. Then about 4 years later, the inner front part of my eye came undone. Because the line from the suture method hadn’t been bad, I went back to the same clinic. The consultation manager said that since it was a revision at the place that had done it, they would do an incisional procedure for just 400,000 won, and it was my mistake to say okay and lie down on the operating table,, I ended up with sausage eyes, prominent scarring, mucosal eversion, and deep fixation.. Well.. it’s job-hunting season right now, and I’m ruined.. I have to take another year off.. I feel empty, but I can’t really argue with anyone about who was right or wrong, so I’m just getting angry at myself.
