It’s been one month since the surgery. There is still some scar tissue hardness left, and I have pain. The protruding area right below the shoulder was shaved down really well, so even my shoulder line looks pretty. They said I had a lot of fat, so they removed 700 cc of fat alone, and my circumference decreased by about 4 to 5 cm. I really like that the shoulder-line area slimmed down a lot, but around the elbow, maybe because of residual swelling, it still feels relatively thick. When I look in the mirror, it definitely feels a bit protruded.. I’ll have to hope it settles down more. Maybe because I was very active right after surgery, the bruising was severe, and the swelling in the lower arm area was no joke. After about 3 weeks, it got okay enough to wear short sleeves, but I still can’t fully raise my arms overhead. Still, it’s a surgery that was worth the hardship. If you’re considering it, I strongly recommend doing it when the weather is cool. Compression garments in midsummer are really tough.
