Reasons I chose the hospital 1. I could feel the director’s conviction? principles? about breasts. When I listened to the explanation during the consultation, I felt, ah, this person has mastered this field. 2. The price was decent compared with other hospitals. 3. It met all the conditions I had set when I was going around consulting at hospitals (CCTV, anesthesia, etc.). 4. Day of surgery : The surgery time was delayed by one hour. They let me get skin care during that time. When I heard it was delayed, I got a little scared. I had surgery in the afternoon, and keeping the 8-hour fast was so hard ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Not being able to drink water was so painful. I went under anesthesia without seeing the director’s face before anesthesia. After waking up from anesthesia, I didn’t really have pain, but moving was very uncomfortable. I went home in my mom’s car.
First week after surgery : I had zero pain, and I had seen reviews saying that after surgery you can’t lie down or get up on your own, but I just got up and lay down fine. But having to sleep lying straight on my back made my lower back hurt so much (they say it helps to sleep with cushions on both sides). Daily life was possible; it was just a bit uncomfortable. But I couldn’t really put strength into my arms.
Second week after surgery : The waterproof tape stuck on the surgical area kept falling off so damn easily when I put it on myself, which was annoying. I definitely think having surgery in summer isn’t good.. When I ate mala-tang, my breasts swelled up really tight and felt slightly pulling. I think it’s better not to eat foods that cause swelling.
Third week after surgery : I went to the hospital for a follow-up, and they said the progress was so good that I could wear a regular bra (with transaxillary incision, you usually have to wear compression underwear for about 3 months). I’m applying ointment and taking medicine that helps prevent capsular contracture.
Now I just smoke and drink too (within limits that don’t overdo it). I’m really, really satisfied with the shape, and it feels good because all my friends said it turned out well. As for the feel, they said it gets soft around 3 or 4 months, so I’m waiting. But I can feel it gradually getting softer, though it’s still a bit firm. The surgical scar also seems to be gradually sinking in as I apply ointment. I do have sensation everywhere, but the sensation in the nipple area is much less than before. They said this can also come back with time, so I’m waiting. The director is seriously my benefactor. If anyone is worrying about hospitals, try getting a consultation here too (only downside: the waiting time is long no matter what you do at the hospital).
