I didn’t want double eyelid surgery and only wanted my eyes to look bigger, so I decided on canthoplasty. I’m satisfied with the result, but making the outer corners of the eyes look sharp like < is really absolutely impossible. I think that’s only possible when they open it very slightly. As expected, mine is also a somewhat soft ㄷ shape, but makeup covers it completely, and unless someone saw my swelling at the time of surgery, no one knows at all. But I hear things like, “Did you lose weight somewhere?” or “Did you change your makeup?” Even though I was only getting canthoplasty, the doctor didn’t recommend any other surgeries and examined me thoroughly. I really wanted a lot of widening, and I think they did as much as possible. After surgery, I really, really, really had a hard time because of swelling in one conjunctiva, and for almost 2 months one side wouldn’t go down, so I went around wearing an eye patch. Without it, it looked gross. After time passed, it eventually all went down, and now it’s a surgery I’m really satisfied with.
